Stephanie Muckley

I’m Stephanie. I used to wear scrubs and hold the hands of strangers in hospital rooms. As a nurse, I learned that grief doesn’t just live in final goodbyes, it’s in the quiet tears of a patient told their body is failing, in the hollowed eyes of someone watching their child struggle, in the exhaustion of a spouse who’s become a caregiver overnight. I’ve sat with more heartbreak than I can count, and what I know is this: loss has no hierarchy, and healing isn’t linear.

I’ve sat with more heartbreak than I can count, and what I know is this: loss has no hierarchy, and healing isn’t linear.

Grief can feel like carrying a stone in your chest heavy, invisible, and yours alone. But here’s the truth I learned in those hospital hallways: you were never meant to carry it alone.

In our work together, we won’t rush you through “stages” or pressure you to “find meaning” before you’re ready. Instead, we’ll:

My nursing background means I understand the medical side of your journey diagnoses, treatments, systems that can feel cold and confusing. My coaching heart means I see the whole you: your spirit, your fears, your resilience, your right to grieve exactly as you need to. Whether you’re navigating tangible loss, living with invisible grief, or facing anticipatory heartbreak, you deserve support that honours your whole experience.

About Stephanie Muckley

I was just 18 when I first put on a nurse's uniform, stepping into a world that would shape me in ways I couldn't yet imagine. After earning my diploma in adult nursing, I spent over a decade across wards, A&E departments, and community settings—each placement teaching me something profound about human resilience and vulnerability.
There are moments from those years that stay with me. Like the times I sat with patients who had no family, no one to advocate for them, trying to be that person who would listen and help them find their voice. Or the quiet afternoons spent holding the hand of someone dying, ensuring they wouldn't take their final breath alone. Or the heartbreaking conversations with families, delivering news that would shatter their world, then staying to offer that shoulder to cry on, that steady presence in the storm.

Vision

A world where no one navigates profound loss alone where every person facing grief, transition, or end-of-life journeys has at least one compassionate witness to walk beside them.

Mission

To provide holistic-transitional coaching that integrates evidence-based techniques with compassionate nursing presence creating safe spaces where all forms of loss are witnessed, validated, and transformed into pathways for healing.

These statements aren’t just words on a page—they’re the promise I make to every person who trusts me with their story. They reflect both the lessons from my nursing career and the deep understanding that comes from having been a patient in need of compassion myself.
